The Lincoln County Crimestoppers Board of Directors is looking for new Board Members who are interested in becoming involved with and serving their community ( Lincoln County ) as . Board Members help organize raising of funds for the reward fund, determining rewards, ensuring that these rewards are paid and promoting the program. A very simple and undemanding position that rewards not only the induvidual but the community as well. On 08/24/08 a tree thinning crew working on Swede Mountain at the .6 mile marker of Williams Creek, discovered an unexploded pipe bomb. The explosive device which appeared to have been there for some time would have been lethal if detonated near people. An air force bomb disposal unit from Great Falls responded and destroyed the device.
